Before coming down to low press. That again it also once again has to go to a higher speed before it goes down and press. It one more time to get it high so this is on low and its on automatic right that means that if it doesnt achieve this temperature 69 degrees.
That i have it set here. Then it will remain on now. If i set this at 74 degrees.
By pressing up all the way down the unit will turn off after like a degree or two after that okay so at 74 degrees. Its at 73 degrees. Right now itll still remain on for a little bit and and once it gets a little bit cooler.
It will im extra and off now i switch it to 76 degrees. Youll notice that the unit already turned off already so if the temperature actually reaches 76 degrees. Thats when the fan will turn on and it will pull in the cooler fresher air from the outside thats an automatic you want to override any of that you just press the mode button basically turn this light off which is the auto on low and you turn that off and the fan will just stay on itll just function like a regular fan at the setting that you at the speed that you have okay so air flow.
You got you in you got out and you got exchange. Now. The exchange on the two different fans is non adjustable.
So if i turn this on right. Now youll see that this one sucks it out and this one brings it in unlike. Some other fans where you can you dependently adjust the fans thats just the way.
Its gonna be so thats something you got to keep in mind particularly in vertical windows. Where if you want the the inside of the air coming out. Its better to have this on the lower side because heat rises and then have this suck it out okay.
So its better to basically put it in this way. Because. The cool air comes in here.
The warm air comes out the top or the right hand side. And you know thats thats the most optimal way to set it up in a room. When youre doing any exchange mode of course horizontally.
Theres not a whole lot you can do about that thats just something that you know its just non adjustable anyway and its at a flat plane youre just gonna have to remember that this is going to bring air in and this is gonna suck it out okay. I think that covers just about everything that i wanted to mention about the the functionality. And the features on here this adjusts accordion wise you got to release.
These two things up here. These. Two tabs up here at the top one over there one over here you got to release that a bit so that you can pull these out.
And then when you want to lock in place at the setting. Youre at you just press that in and press. That in and that just kind of kind of holds it holds it out there if you will and then you just go ahead and mount this on the window.
There are actually some lips over here on this side to keep it to keep your your window actually door right here in between thats where you want to adjust it a little handle here on the back to make it easier to control when youre doing the placing. And then on the bottom. Its nice little groove over here for the power cord to go either way.
So those are some useful little things about this fan here all right so im gonna go ahead. And see if i can hear the high pitch sound on this model in auto mode and im gonna adjust the temperature up higher. And yes i can still hear it so this is true even of this one this one is less noisy than the other one that i have so that this would so again as i was saying the sound and the high pitched sound that the circuitry in here emits will vary from unit to unit.
And this one seems to be a little bit less than the other unit. I have in the window just a little bit. Its pretty darn close its really really hard its hard to tell.
But its really close of course once the fan is on though i wont be over here much of any difference. Honestly though even with those issues that i mentioned the bonaire window fan that i have linked down below is still the best window fan that ive ever tested and ever used compared to the other window fans that ive had i think the most recent one ive tested was a homes window fan granite. It was relatively cheaper that one seems to make a lot more noise and less airflow than this one.
And the difference is pretty much astounding with this thing on in low medium and high. I can feel the air coming in at even 20 to 30 feet away. And it still feels like a really strong gust of air coming in so.
The one thing that i wish though was that there was an even slower speed than lo something that is silent and thats something that i have yet to find where you can adjust it so that while theres still decent amount of airflow that it is inaudible and that would be the next level window fan for me. Not just have really fast high speed of air coming in but also something that i could use at night. That is not too bright doesnt make too much sound doesnt turn on and maximum blast.
Whenever i switch the switch. The controls over here and is so silent that i can go ahead and rest and sleep with the fan just a couple feet away from my head all right. But still i give this the highest rating.
That i can possibly give. And it still is the best in 2019 so far here in the united states alright. Thats it for this video thank you very much for watching please forgive me.
